Honolulu Board of REALTORS® Honors Jack M. Legal as REALTOR® of the Year and 10 Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Awardees

HONOLULU, December 4 ,2020 – The Honolulu Board of REALTORS® announced today the 2020 REALTOR® of the Year and 10 winners of the distinguished Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Awards at its annual Winter General Membership Meeting, which was held virtually this year.
“During this pandemic, REALTORS® have never been more essential to ensuring our communities have safe, stable housing,” said Suzanne Young, CEO of The Honolulu Board of REALTORS®. “We are incredibly proud to honor our REALTORS®, who have gone above and beyond for their clients, and are dedicated to shaping and strengthening our communities.”
Jack M. Legal, a principal broker and owner of Legal Realty, was honored as the 2020 REALTOR® of the Year. Presented annually for more than 60 years, the REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes an extraordinary REALTOR® who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the real estate profession, as well as to the community at large. A committee selects the honoree based on his or her REALTOR® spirit, faithfulness to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, civic activity, business accomplishments, local, state, and national REALTOR® associations participation.
The prestigious Aloha ‘Āina REALTOR® Awards recognizes REALTORS®, known for their exceptional service to their clients and their record of fair dealings with clients while upholding the highest ethical standards. This year, more than 1,500 nominations were submitted by clients of REALTORS® who participated in a transaction within the past year.
